Home Inspiration
Happy Wednesday morning! Everything has been pretty busy lately- right at the beginning of wedding season and it has already just be so great. I have the best clients in the world and they just have incredible taste & beautiful weddings—which always makes my job great. Pretty weddings=pretty pictures.
Our home is coming along super fast! They now have a completed structural frame and all of the plywood up. It is making the space seem a lot more “spacious” which is good because I was getting scared about its itsy bitsy footprint. They did the plumbing yesterday (now my soaker tub is in place! woohoo!) and I am assuming that the roofing and electric is next.
In a couple weeks we are taking our trip to Ikea, which I am super exited about. It has got me thinking about the interior design of our new house and how I want it to look and feel. I am thinking lots of pops of color with a retro-vintage + modern approach to the decor. As you may already know, I am a huge thrifter-upcycler…I love re-finishing furniture and making unique pieces for cheap cheap. SO my back patio has been a festival of sanding and painting—trying to get everything ready to rock by the time we move! Woohoo!! Here is a board of some of my living space inspiration—-
