My Bridal Shower

Last Wednesday, August 1st was my bridal shower! My mother, Natalie and aunt, Melissa worked their little tushies off to throw this AMAZING shin-dig. I feel so dang lucky to have such amazing friends and family that would come support me. It makes me excited to see everyone on a larger scale at the wedding (SOOOO NERVOUS BTW!!). Everything was so fun and relaxed. These girls rounded up a bunch of kitchen tables and Melissa made all the table runners, food backdrop etc etc. I can’t believe all the hard work that went into this and I am soooo excited to show all of you that weren’t there.

Need an explanation? Well- everyone brought recipes that they make for their loved ones to share with me along with stories about the recipes…well, when we got to Frannie, she said: “those of you who know me, know that I am not much of a cook….” and then she sung (and danced to) The Recipe for Making Love By Harry Connick Jr.

Luckily, Aunt Steph got most of it on video:

The drawing of Matt and I that Tatum made for us…pretty accurate if I do say so myself. She even got the height difference!!

The book that now has a permanent home in my powder room…read it if you ever use the bathroom at my house…

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who came! I love you so much and we will be seeing you at the wedding soon!! Yay!

  1. Uhm… I guess I didn’t get an invitation to this… your mom did for some reason, and don’t say because I’m a guy cause Carter was there. This looked really fun, and I loved sun dried tomato anything…. you can have the humus though. Dad.
